THE AIRCRAFT CORPORATION "RUBIN"

Aircraft corporation "Rubin"  was founded on base of the aircraft plant known in the USSR as plant no. 279 under the Ministry of Aircraft Industry. From 1946 this plant is the unique manufacturer of aircraft landing gear equipment - wheels, brakes, and hydraulics - in Russian Federation and CIS. We design, develop and produce take-off/landing blocks and units for different types of current generation aircrafts.

The major foreign analogues for "Rubin"  are: the American corporations HONEYWELL — division Aircraft Landing Systems — ALS, Gudrich, Hamilton-Sundstrand;  companies Dunlop and Vickers (Great Britain); and French company Messier Bugatti. It should be pointed out that neither of them has the same variety of products as "Rubin".

During more then half a century aircrafts, i.e., airplanes and helicopters, as well as the world-wide known the space aircraft "Buran", were equipped by components and systems developed and produced by our corporation "Rubin". Manufacturing for rocketry is also in the sphere of our interest.

Aircraft production of  "Rubin" is often represented at various International aero-shows in Le Bourget (France), Farnborough (Great Britain), Singapore, and China. "Rubin" is a regular participator of the International Aerospace salon in Ghukovskii.

Our experts and researches  usually take  part in different domestic and international conferences and workshops with reports about main achievements of our corporation.

At present "Rubin" posses the unique test facilities for adjustment aircraft wheels, brakes, hydraulic drives, pumps, all types of  hydraulics for hydraulic and brake systems. In 1994 our landing gear (wheels, brakes and brake systems) testing laboratory and hydraulics and hydraulic systems testing laboratory were accredited by Gosstandart of RF as the International Testing Center for Aerospace Hydraulic and Landing Equipment.
